解決”Authentication is required to set the network proxy used for downloading packages”問題

使用者常跟我抱怨 “Authentication is required to set the network proxy used for downloading packages” 這個問題.

後來終於 google 了一下. 用下列指令

# gnome-session-properties

然後取消 “PackageKit Update Applet”. 就可以解決了.

當然更絕的方式就把它移除吧

# which gpk-update-icon
/usr/bin/gpk-update-icon
# rpm -qf /usr/bin/gpk-update-icon
gnome-packagekit-2.28.3-3.el6.x86_64
# rpm -e gnome-packagekit
